Milosevic could partition Kosovo within days
That would allow Serbian forces to dig in to areas they want to keep, and NATO would take a high cost attempting to change this front line.

In another week or two the Serbs will be relocating the 700,000 Bosnian Serb refugees into Kosovo. Then NATO will have to bomb Serb refugees to make room for the Albanian refugees who were promised that they could return to Kosovo as soon as NATO defeats the Serbian army. I wonder if NATO will call the bombing of Bosnian Serb refugees a "defensive action"?
