edamo, Hi!! **************OT********** or is it?? It's almost opening day... :o) RE: name of ryne duren...the only "blind" pitcher in history.. Unfortunately, we may be old enough to remember him...I recall that he once threw a wild pitch into the first deck of Yankee Stadium...at least that is what the two Yankee fanatics told me that were my roommates at college...I can remember him crouching over with both hands on his knees looking for the sign...needless to say he was trying to see what the catcher was calling...not establishing a new style on the mound.
