WHO is WRONG !!!!
The management of BII who sold 20 mill.++ shares at $1.50 in the last 6 months (10 mill in Dec.98') or the people paying $15.00 in Mar.99, Either BII management were very, very wrong and sold shares way too cheap, thereby denying shareholders a fair price for their assets or people are currently paying way too much. Insiders kept only 8% of the stock, I think that answers the question. The Inet auction craze was already a known quantity when they sold so much stock for so little, relative to todays price. Remember BII management are too smart to have sold for too little.
Since the time they sold the last 10 mill. shares virtually nothing has changed , except growth has slowed and indexing inclusion .

>>Yes UBID has multiplied up to 5X its original trading price during its life before its retreat; BII has done much better, multiplying approximately 30 times. Those multiples sound a caution to me on BII.<<

Dave,

I am not implying for a second that you were being deceptive in your post. However, where possible, I feel your premise would stand up better to criticism if you could compare apples to apples when you cited comparisons.

If they were trading on any other exchanges (such as OTC, etc.) then what multiple did UBID shares see prior to listing on NASDAQ? If so, then you need to compare this increase to the multiple has BII shares have seen prior to listing on NASDAQ?

You state that UBID at its peak after it began trading on NASDAQ, had seen a multiple of 5X its original trading price. I see this as the variable that everyone is questioning right now. In other words, what is the potential upside for BII following the NASDAQ trading debut?

I know I have my target, and I hope that it hits or exceeds it. One thing I am very sure of is that it is going to be considerably higher than it is now!

But this is just my opinion!

Crazy Canuk

Dave,---I don't think they are talking about what stocks like BID.COM did before the NASDAQ,they are talking about the performance of those Internet Auction companies starting with day #1 on the NASDAQ.!!! Let's hope BID.COM's turn will soon be up.!!!!
