Auric, re. <<Calling vendors who deal with a given company as well as prior employers of senior management >>

sounds good.

You may have had better luck at this than me, so may I ask two questions:

When you call the vendor, who do you ask for, and what do you ask them? Once I tried phoning a vendor's chief accounting officer to ask if a certain customer was attempting to pay its AP with stock rather than cash, and the most info that I could get was whether or not the co. I was interested in was indeed a customer.

re. calling prior employers, is there much you can accomplish beyond verifying previous employment and title? Usually that's about all the info that an HR office will give out.

recognize
a head shot,
recognize
the broadside
of a barn,
get out of that
bunny suit,
what do you mean
cleanliness,
do the right thing,
man,
take a shower,
once in a while...
