Bill , you are definitely on the right track, thinking US pre 60's models as opposed to newer or God forbid some tacky foreign job. The pre 60 vehicles are built like tanks and should allow you the back seat capacity you will need for this venture as well as sufficient weight to keep from getting bogged down at your local landfill. Nobby tires would also help in that regard. Sorry I am not a tech guy so I am unable to offer any assistance as to the engineering of the collection unit. :-), MarkC.
