Art, owning 10% would probably guarantee a 0% chance at a director's seat. Barring a shareholder referendum (which is almost impossible), the only people who get to be directors are those that the current directors decide to list as candidates on the next proxy statement. If someone started seriously accumulating shares without the BOD's "permission", you can be sure that their name would be intentionally omitted.

Assuming that you have a bottomless wallet for legal fees, you could accumulate 14.29% of SNDK and try cumulative voting to force your election as a write-in candidate. But it's unwise to try and crash a private club without an invitation.

Good thing we didn't make the Forbes top 20 or we would really be in trouble.

I got my NEC MobilePro 770 yesterday and am enjoying it greatly. Just downloaded some photo editing software onto it. It has both a CF slot and a type II PCMCIA slot for expansion. The newer models (both H/PC and handhelds) are sporting 64K color touch screens. It is like colorizing an old black and white movie.
