Michael, while the story you noted appeared online, nothing was published in the weekly hard copy journal, which is the one that is read by thousands of more traditional investors/brokers/analysts/portfolio managers. I've been a private investor for nearly 50 years, and have been running an independent investment advisory service for 18 years. From experience, I suggest that when BARRON'S finally gets around to doing an article in its weekly hard copy edition, in which some analyst says he really likes QCOM, that's when we'll know the institutional investors have already bought into the company, and that's when individuals can decide whether market conditions would encourage taking some profits - but not until then!
