Turbodyne delisted, delays annual report

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif., April 5 (Reuters) - Turbodyne Technologies Inc. said Monday it has requested an extension for the filing of its annual report from the Securities and Exchange Commission and expects to report a loss.

Turbodyne, which makes pollution-reduction, performance-enhancing products for engines. as well as machined aluminum castings, said it expected to incur a substantial net loss for the year ended Dec. 31, compared with the prior year.

The company also said in a separate statement it has been delisted from the Nasdaq market, effective at the close of business Monday, but has requested a Nasdaq hearing to review the decision in an effort to be reinstated.

Turbodyne said it hoped, meanwhile, to list its securities on the OTC Bulletin Board.
