WPCKR: Just my opinion - but I think that the hybrids with maybe a 2 stroke have a chance if they can improve the batteries or at least drop the cost. The battery is the weak link -even in todays cars how many times have you been stranded by your battery - that is why we carry jumper cables! Likewise in the proposed fuel cell car, putting cost aside there are weak links, which have to be solved - then they have either to drop the cost of the fuel cell or raise the cost of gas to $5.00 a gallon. Solving the problems with fuel cells, getting the cost of them down to acceptable levels or waiting for gas to go to
$5.00 , is not going to happen this year or next. OOOPS - and i was going back to lurking, sorry.
