I really don't understand the insider trading laws at all ... but I really don't think it applies to someone buying a few thousand shares of a penny stock based on a research report put out by some unknown firm. Truly, I think there is a bit of over reaction here. I am not familiar with the report or how Skip received it ... but I receive emails all the time from alleged research firms, stock newsletters, etc. - all with information they supposedly have prior to being released. Since these letters have information regarding news that has yet to be publicly released, deals that are supposed to happen, earnings that no one has any true knowledge about -- well, then, everyone on SI and/or with access to email can be guilty of insider trading if they bought and/or sold stock based on these newsletters. That would mean thousands upon thousands of people would be under arrest. I believe the insider rules are more pertinent to people within the company releasing "big" information ahead of time allowing certain people to buy thousands of shares and/or options to make a killing. A research report is just that - a report based on what the company has done in the past and what is *projected* to happen in the future. It does not give out information about unannounced deals - anyway, doesn't need to since Don has pretty much told us in his investor updates and conference calls on what they are working towards. So - TSIS has always had leaks, so to speak - and most of us have acted upon them (prematurely in most cases). I really don't think a research report with projected numbers is insider trading. Analysts are always upgrading, downgrading, revising, etc. - and this is done from research and "rumors" and speculation - not on inside information. Skip was trying to share information he read with us all and I for one appreciate it. Am always happy to hear that someone out there believes in this stock. However, I am unfamiliar with the company nor have I been able to find this report on the web; therefore, it is just another opinion (but one I like for obvious reasons). Have a happy Easter all ... and let's put the sharp objects away. I shall call JJ tomorrow to see if I can find out anything about this report and current status of becoming fully reporting. If I remember correctly, they were not going to file until sometime in April as they were working on getting all the paperwork together and, once they applied, they assumed the full process would probably take a few months and that they were looking, conservatively, at a completion date sometime around September/October.
