Now, back to my question. What Biotech would be asked to do the feasibility study? Can anyone come up with some possible names? Bob, what Biotech companies are producing antimicrobial peptides in significant quantities and testing in Phase III trials? Can anyone come up with candidates? Slugger, I have asked several times WHEN was mortality requirement put into effect and has that number changed? BTW Bob, just because animals might produce the peptides DOESN'T have ANYTHING to do with size of protein. GIVE ME A BREAK! How is BPI administered? Isn't it a possibility that instead of producing BPI the way Xoma does, rabbits or some other mammal would do it for you? Get the possible picture now, Bob? It seems you are awful quick to brush aside the above possibilities before you see the feasibility study.

Bob, please don't limit your scope to sepsis per se. How many ANTIMICROBIAL peptides common to all mammals can you name that even come close to killing action of rBPI21? Dolly makers are NOT looking for sepsis cure!! They are looking for ANTIMICROBIAL peptides. Key word is ANTIMICROBIAL. It didn't say in article anything about HOW that possible antimicrobial had to be administered. I read the article and was amazed at possibilities. Seems to me if it could be done, you would be possibly unlimited in quantities of ANTIMICROBIAL peptides produced!!!!!!!!!!
