Dave, The reason is to combat the shorts and probably more accurately reflect what MDIN's business focus is as well. Medinah Energy makes us sound like we're drilling for black gold. My understanding is MDIN has had an attorney who is an ex SEC employee on retainer for some time to implement a strategy against the shorts. Superdow and everyone, my thoughts have not changed regarding this short squeeze situation. I don't feel it is prudent to focus on what I consider to be a side issue. For those of us already invested, great, we'll see what happens but for a new investor basing your purchase on this I think your priorities are misplaced. I would invest more in this price range and have, because I actually feel the risk is less with the known drill results to date than when we were at .07. My reasoning would have nothing to do with a short squeeze as I still feel the odds are against it ever happening. It is just too difficult to implement with a non reporting OTC BB company but if so, great, icing on the cake. I do know for it to happen we would need strong fundamental news along with the cusip and name change. Superdow, we didn't have these results to report when we were trading at .07 so I suspect the reason they have waited until now is because they have strong fundamental news lined up. Think about what we know is going on. Assays to be reported on holes 5 and 6 with Les and Ian in Chile over Easter. Could these be the events along with the name and cusip change to create a short squeeze? I don't know, but if results are as good as I hear on 5 & 6 and we receive a buyout offer we have as much lined up to make the short squeeze happen as we could wish in our wildest dreams. This would be the test and we'll all be much more informed when we encounter this type of event in the future.
