I read reports of Turkey willing to build a tent city for 20,000 refugees and Canada 5,000....That's a start at least.

Clinton made a mention of taking some in...Cook and Blair are talking about building sanctuaries and the Albanian government is willing to take 100,000 AS LONG AS they are provided the money.

This incredible show of humanitarian relief is just mind boggling<g>

Impotency, that is what I said. Impotency. Those nukes are the only thing that they have to hang over our heads, and thats the only reason the West gives Russia any credence at all. Russia would crumble from total financial collapse before Russian troops ever made it to the Polish border no doubt...

And yes they see the writing on the wall, as does China. Both are full of hot air. The Russians are hypocritical opportunists taking advantage of the situation to drive a wedge in NATO and take political pot shots at the US. Not too loudly however. They dont want to threaten the chances of getting more IMF loans. The military "exercises," the launching of a missile in the North Sea, a nuclear test, sabre rattling, the deployment of the Black Sea fleet (wheres the rest of it? Probably cant get it out of port), all of it is a chimpanzee branch-rustling threat display on a grandeous scale, no more.

U.S. Will Take Several Thousand Kosovo Refugees

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Secretary of State Madeleine Albright said Sunday the United States would take ''several thousand'' refugees from Kosovo who have
fled into neighboring countries in the face of Yugoslav forces.

The European Union will take about 100,000 of some 350,000 refugees in Albania and Macedonia, Albright said on NBC's Meet the Press program. ''The United
States will also take a proportion in order to share the burden,'' she said.
-----------------------------------------

Allbright wants to take in "several thousand"...EU takes in 100,000...do the math and please check the latest unemployment figures. I am sure the fellow NATO members are feeling so good about the generosity of the US!

Another scenario....could all this be planned by the US to destabilize the European Union and its emerging Euro? Or were they just so grossly incompetent?

Hey nuke it looks like they WILL be in your neighborhood after all!

All the opposition govts in Europe will have a field day, instability...economies take a hit...everyone keeps resorting to the US treasuries and keep the money coming in to sustain the bubble....

Or am I just watching too much Fox Mulder?
