<affect the behaviour of what is known as a 'transmission' line >

I have heard some indication to this effect. I have heard that the copper has less cross-talk between traces, but I have not heard a clear reason why. However this may included by saying that copper wires are faster.

One question I have are quantitatively how much faster are copper wires than aluminum wires for a typical .18 micron process? What is the difference in sheet resistance between the two (not the same question!)? What is the substrate capacitance of the two layers?
