George
Aber is just as guilty of Promotion of there Stock
It seems to Me Aber's stock was 26 Dollars and before Christmas it was 7 dollars. How Did BB get information of a Buyout that drove it up to
12 dollars??????
Clearly this is just a Cat & Dog Fight between Winspear & Aber.
Aber has Made a Statement of Claim that does not even begin to talk about why they never signed this years program.
Matter of Fact Why didn't they cut a Cheque for the 1999 program if there were that interested or Why has Aber not said the VP in charge
of this program has been fired.Talk about disclosure.

George......Aber has not wanted their name on the same page as Wsp since 1996, nothing new or mysterious there. The bottom line is Aber is(was) trying to spin off Wsp thru a 2nd company, Aberex, probably to cut a deal with DeBeers( as teevee has postulated) or maybe to Rio Tinto......in any event, the ever vigilant, ever astute Randy Turner (my Hero) figured all this out and has stuck it right into Aber real good. My personal feeling is that a judge will ultimately rule in Winspears favor.......have a nice Easter George and don't eat too many jelly beans.......

George
"Aber requested there names be striken from Winspear NR"

Because Aber never Believe in Snap Lake after no Pipe Was Found and now all of a sudden they change there tune.By the way the dispute is for 16% of Snap Lake.
It clearly Shows Aber should be held by shareholders for the loss of this resource.Lossing % points Last year will cost shareholders Big Money.

Cheers.

Your are very perceptive, George. Not only is Aber's name striken form the Winspear Press releases but Aber has not issued any Press Releases of their own on Snap Lake results recently, nor did they make any mention of Snap Lake in their Prospectus to raise 100 million at $14.40 per share.
Now if Aber does indeed have an interest in Snap lake would the results from Snap Lake not be a material change affecting Aber's value? What is going on here George?
Talk about disclosure problems!
What can the market conclude? Where are Aber shareholders supposed to get accurate information? Check out the Aber web site. Nothing there!
Aber's interest was at least $50 million as they have turned down an offer for at least that much.
You would think that a company would report regularly on a $50 million asset, don't you think?

George:

As you say All will become clear in time, and protracted repetition of the pros and cons is fruitless.

The one thing that is clear RIGHT NOW and has been for some months is that you have destroyed the respect that some threadsters had for you, for some reason and have a very low probability of success in the Letter Writing business. I'm sure that there are many who will join me in wishing you luck in your search for a more appropriate pastime.

Cheers
