Actually Albania is a uniquely phacked up place...These people had been closed off to ANY outside influence for over 40 years under Hoxha and have built bunkers all over the country to stop foreign invaders meanwhile scraping a living along. The collapse of the Soviet Union caused the country to join in the "free" world..What happened? Some other criminals (read Berisha and his band of cronies) set up this elaborate pyramid scheme to bilk the Albanians of all their savings...then hell broke loose and people rose up and raided the army barracks and got all these weapons...every civilian there now has a weapon, there have a complete breakdown of governement and law order, it's like the Far West, warlords take care of local "govt". So the people, after all these years of oppression and isolation, have been psychologically marked for a long long time...The only way for them to get up to their feet is economic assistance and certainly not bombs. Their only way out of this sorry place of the Balkans is escape through immigration to ANY country (preferably Western). Their accumulation of them at the borders is their only way out to a better life...otherwise they 'll just go back to their homes when the KLA "freedom" fighters are exterminated and the bobms stop falling. So whoever accepts these refugees will have to live with them for years...maybe will be here to see how nuke's 9 Albanian refugee neighbors get along. Meanwhile the bombing is to be stepped up against Belgrade...Shame
