I couldn't agree more. I basically was asleep at the switch and missed the QCOM move so far, but wouldn't try to enter now. I remember last July, right at the market top, watching someone buy 100,000 Lucent at 108 which turned out to be the high for that move. It was white hot at the time. Unfortunately, that guy didn't see 108 again until 1999 if I remember correctly and there was ample opportunity later to buy Lucent at substantially reduced prices. Another thing which I am not sure has been taken into account is the role of daytraders and mo-mo traders in QCOM right now. I pulled up level 2 on it a couple of times last week to see if I could do a quickie in and out and there was a lot of daytrading activity, similar to an internet stock.

In sum, I like this play better at this point in time. I rather imagine we'll get another crack at QCOM at more reasonable prices.

P.S. I don't know about you, but I hate to see these boards too bullish on anything (like they are on QCOM right now). That can mark tops sometimes.
