BGR, I am not sure how many companies can actually compensate their employees at that level out of cash and still stay in the business.

And that is exactly the problem. Much of this compensation makes no economic sense. If the true costs were known to most investors they would rebel. Instead, through a combination of accounting subterfuge and greed shareholders are being shorn of their money.
