You better understand ETrade's IPO politics and unclear strategy before you blow us off. You'll regret it! I did what you're doing for 2 months and then started screaming at ETrade CSR's to no avail.

Re: the efficiency of this thread. Hi Topannuity! Can we now stop the "political" conversations about democracy etc. and instead just post actual announcements. In heaven, yes. Here, I think not. And imagine what's going to happen once E*Trade actually gets ready to set an IPO in motion again. As a practical matter, once one has logged into one's bookmark list and sees there are new messages, it's only another mouseclick and a ten second scan to determine whether an IPO is in the works. I think I'll CAPITALIZE my post headings ONLY when referring to ANNOUNCEMENTS, (see #22 on the list of postings); that might be a small help. In any case, it's the nature of SI threads to become marketplaces of ideas and go wherever their posters take them. And I for one wouldn't want it any other way. I learn too much. This thread and other threads can easily serve many purposes. Let's see how things go when something actually happens. I don't think anyone here will wish to obstruct a perceived common advantage.
