If you can see your mirc address in the window where all the names in a room are shown, that is your mirc mask.

Do you know how one adjusts the display to show this? I just see my nickname and I can't seem to find anything in 'help' that indicates how to adjust what's displayed there. I did try 'fingering' myself and I got some sort of address but I'm not sure if that's the 'right' address. Any chance I could ask you to try to finger yourself ... un, let me rephrase, any chance I could ask you to try running the 'finger' command using your nickname (its the pointed finger on top underneath 'window' in the menu)? Just enter your nickname when prompted and see what address it returns; i.e. if that's the address MB needs. /uwho returns similar information.

If you cannot see your mirc mask, go into #mbtrading any time (like now) and ask for help. It might take a few minutes to get a response, but you will get one.

Here's the problem. When I try to 'talk' in that chat room, I'm the only one who sees my words. They don't display to everyone. However...I've not tried this in about 10 days so maybe, per your later comments, they've adjusted that.

Ps. I cannot stress enough that anyone who is having software problems should go to #mbtrading during trading hours and get these problems resolved. By phoning in you are only talking to one person who is probably trying to get trades done for customers, where in the chat room, your question is simultaneously addressed by a dozen or more tech experts.

BTW, I agree with you that the #mbtrading chat room is definitely worthwhile. Just open it in the a.m., log the chat to a logfile and you can review the log after hours (or during a lull in the market) and you'll be surprised what tidbits you'll pick up. In addition, when there are problems like servers going down, my experience has been you'll find out details a lot quicker there than by trying to call in.
