Again, short interest is primarily high right now because of the arb opps for the merger. I wouldn't make too much of it. When the merger closes (hopefully), those short shares will be replaced with newly printed ATHM shares - NOT shares bought in the open market. Therefore, the big short-squeeze everyone is looking for will not occur.

Here's one source of short interest, yahoo co. profile... biz.yahoo.com I just went to @Home's website and signed up for service. It said service was now available in my area and they would be contacting me shortly (New Orleans). I was surprised since I didn't think service was available to many areas yet. Just wondering if I should really expect to get service soon. My cable provider is Cox Communications. They are advertising now for their internet service but they said it wont be available until end of summer in my area.
