J Fieb,

When did that news come out? If they looked at the site on the afternoon of April 2, they could have easily found this:

webnode.com

Also, the ability to order nodes and show interest in shares was disabled Friday as well.

I read that 3 times before I posted it, just because it was April 1. The web page was real complete. Too good to be true. As an investor I would rather own part of a company that owns all the nodes, instead of just a few. The accounting would be a nightmare.

hpcwire.tgc.com is absolutely 101% incorrect: "At the present time, WebNode's site, webnode.com , is still operational and soliciting names and email addresses of potential 'investors'."

Since Friday, April 2, the share and node ordering links plainly state in big bold letters:

"We're Sorry… The deadline for this feature has now expired. Happy April 2nd!"

Furthermore, there is no way to submit information anyway (submit button was removed to help those suffering from reading disorders). Lastly, a big announcement at the top of the main page explains the 'April Fools' nature.

Neither the listed owner of the Website, Bruce Nigel, nor WebNode's PR agent, Jim Chefftell of Morgan Laurel Communications, could be reached for comment.

"Bruce Nigel"??? Sheesh, can't these dorks get ANYTHING right? And didn't "Morgan Laurel" give 'em just a teeny bit of pause??

Would that they'd be equally vigilant when it came to sniffing out REAL scams.
