Their beta was released on April 1. See WWW.welcometosearch.co

They are still working on the advanced search functions and need to do quite a bit more work on the simple search functions. They have a way to go yet before they should launch their PR program. In the meantime, they also need to get a strong marketing force together and get businesses to sign up.

The product potential itself is excellent. The price dipped for several reasons (My guesses)
1) Stock ran up to $8.80 based on speculation; but profit takers and shorters ran price back down.
2) Nervous investors sold out as price dropped; ie Other investors must know something that I don't.
3) A yet unseen beta site is still a very risky investment; Wordcruncher demonstrated what can happen after too much PR prior to the release. Investors did not want to get burned twice.
4) Price will continue to drop as more investors feel disappointed about the search engine. ie Doesnt meet their expectations.

I think the price may go down or stay down for a couple more days; then start to rebound. As well, company will start making more news releases on the status of their marketing plan. Ideally, a JV or merger with a larger, more established organization would launch this product the quickest.

This product potential is excellent. A business directory by city is exactly what the business community needs. Its just in the early stages of its development. I liken this product to the yellow pages.

Any comments?
