You got off easy.

I was assuming that my TurboTax was saving everything (which it would have been prompting me to do if I had followed the entire interview process)--but it wasn't. After three hours of entering every sort of information, I was suddenly in front of a frozen cursor and when I rebooted, there was no file.

Second time through it only took me 90 minutes, but that's the dumbest thing I have done in a long time. Save after every five entries. Also watch out for entering state taxes from the W-2. It won't warn you if you fail to do this and will not add them to the Schedule A.

Tip, didn't we have a discussion a few weeks ago about how much easier doing taxes is with Turbo? <g> Hope it starts working again. It looks like GTN software: good til needed. MB
