Maybe I should have been more clear. What I'd like to know is how to consistently buy at the inside ask in a rapidly rising market... Or, how to sell at the inside bid in a rapidly falling market.

You are certainly correct, it is very easy to sell in a rapidly rising market. Note that you can easily sell at the inside ask, as well as the inside bid price. This is no 'trick'. The trick, or challenge, is being able to buy in a rapidly rising stock, for example.

I would welcome any advice on how to do this!!! Unfortunately, I'm afraid there are no easy answers.
