"1.3 billion people live on less than the equivalent of one dollar a day. Three billion people live on less than the equivalent of two dollars a day. Meanwhile, the world's 358 billionaires have more money combined than the annual incomes of countries with 45% of the world's people." (Hunger 1997, Bread for the World)

Sometimes we need to face info such as the above. Maybe right now, in the same vein, it would be more productive to set aside Clinton-bashing and political dilletantism to consider what we might do to help starving refugees. Small children are dying painful deaths while we dilly-dally and post lighthearted attacks. With only the Catholic Relief Agency and the Red Cross currently in Macedonia, one might want to contact them, send a check for 10 dollars or a hundred. There are many other agencies, but these seem the two best equipped to GET the supplies to the people at the moment.

ahoj!!

This is based on a report in today's Sunday Times...the first filmed evidence is a 1 1/2 minute tape bradcast by the BBC that showed the bodies of at least 17 men between the ages of about 20 to 30 in the town of Velika Krusha 10 miles nortwest of Prizren in southern Kosovo.
Most of the bodies were in a field, two were slumped in the corner of a room. Two corpse were charred. Many had bullet holes in the neck as if executed at close range.

I certainly hope that you don't think that the Sunday Times or the BBC are puppets of the " Albanian propoganda office "
