I certainly agree with that. I'd say that what DB was able to do was perceive potential. She was able to buy his stock low (that is, for her 'ordinary' market value,) because she recognized that, in the fullness of time, it was likely to become Microsoft.

That would kind of nullify her victory. Shouldn't you hope that the genes you thought were undesirable, (the blindness and ugliness ones,) are overwhelmed by the winner genes DB's perspicacity and her daughter's drew into their genetic pool?
