Lottery # lucky 13. I wasn't too pleased, but Canada wasn't an option. If it had been a year later, after the Tet offensive, my young butt might have had second thoughts. Like you, I decided to enlist in the Air Force. I had no intention of staying past the first enlistment but there's just something about the smell of napalm in the morning. Seriously though, before I knew it, 28 years had gone by.

Actualy, most of the allies are trying to head for an exit out this mess. France, Italy and Germany seem to be ready to stop the bombings, and figure out the peaceful solution.
Seems like it may create a situation for the US, where it can exist this affair without losing much of its face (IMO Clinton and da gang have completely discredided US foreign policy already). They can play the card "granting request of our allies". If they are smart (my serious doubts about that) thats what they might do.
