I have done everything that I know how to do with the laptop. I don't think the drive is busted. It just simply will not go past the Surface Scan Disk. It keeps telling me I have bad sectors on my drives and they need to be fixed. But at the rate it uses Surface Scan Disk it would take a year to do it. So I am just going to take it to a computer place and see what they can do with it. Thanks for asking Lamar
