I subscribe to "random walk theory", myself. I have a lot of money tied up in an S&P 500 index fund, so I have no especial interest in the stock talk.

I had a computer that I largely used as a word process that no longer fit the "specs" for going on-line. I went to the library if I needed to do research, since they put in a lot of computers awhile back, and waited for a relative "bottoming out" point, where I thought I would get enough for my money. I got a "power machine" in January, which is why a lot of this is still new to me...
