15 month holder of QCOM with options added two weeks ago. Question for thread. If QCOM to become gorilla of our dreams, do options help, i.e. out of money options you put up less capital but have to sell option and do not collect stock and miss the transcendant MSFT-like, AOL-like experience? If you exercise option, you are buying stock Out of the money or higher than you could today. Perhaps one could buy in the money multiple options, sell a few and use the cash to exercise the remaining options for stock at the in the money strike?

thinking out loud, any input welcome. Thanks
