*****off topic [whatever the hell that means on this thread***** Richard, one of the neat things about all the loonies that chill in this hood is the willingness to take a run at some, shall we say, imaginative ideas. Here's some stuff for you to take a look at, but rememember: "Be careful out there, the money you lose could be your own". Lots of the boys and girls who stuffed some Q in their stockings also dropped in fair sized chunks of LOR & GSTRF. Don't know if satellites are your thing but both have the virtue of being flat on their keesters in a market that's otherwise on laughing gas. Obviously, everybody here is in to mobile telephony and data, but the fixed wireless world is worth a peek--my horse is Winstar but others have laid a bet or two on Teligent. I'm kind of in to the "post" PC world and think that WIND has great market position and potential. It too has been whupped with an ugly stick. Recently, I've been sniffing at Citrix which seems to have the kind of mega-upside that qualify for the "gorilla" category a la RMBS and the Mighty Q. Full disclosure: I'm long all of the above except Citrix and am pretty close to pulling the trigger on that. In the "I coulda been a contenduh" category, I brilliantly avoided buying COVD and QWST because they were too 'expensive'--this was 35 and 45 points ago respectively. (Please Lord I promise never to do bad no more if you'll just give me another chance . . . .) Last, I sold UNPH about 60 points back because it had had "a nice run and was fully priced". As my son keeps reminding me, his dad may not be the fastest little bunny in the warren. :-(
