OK well, fwiw, I think this diamond auction is an example of another thing I don't like about ebay ... where second-rate retailers sell their goods using ebay as a sort of cheap storefront vs. an individual offering something for sale. I suspect ebay was designed for the latter, as a sort of garage sale, which is much more interesting. But some categories are completely full of retailers and the way they word their auctions its hard to screen them out. I don't like ebay anymore personally - I still love Amazon though. Also today I tried drugstore.com and thought it was GREAT. I wanted to buy some vitamins but didn't know which were best... I took a drugstore.com survey and voila! (Of course they probably recommend the same thing to everyone LOL)
