Concerning time between S-1 and the IPO we had that nasty business with LTCM in October that resulted in the delay with UBID and MKTW. Its my understanding that 45-60 days from the filing (March 3rd) is when we should expect to see Net Radio. Everen Securities is the underwriter. everensec.com I registered at their site and asked if they can provide that information (will advise what I hear).
Going back to exit strategy, your post provided the info on DBCC and MALL was based on closing price. In case of UIHIA peak was reached 15 min into trading 4 days ahead of the ipo (however vol peaked 6 days ahead and appeared to have the highest interday price, with the 5th day ahead having the highest close). History points to the peak occuring 3-6 days ahead of the actual ipo. The peak usually corresponds with volume peaking, however this was violated with UIHIA (too much percived value with UIHIA), but it occured as a spike during the 1st 30min of trading (MM's taking avantage of demand from retail clients). BTW checking DBCC it peaked on an interday basis 3 days ahead.
Looks to me like 4 days in advance (give or take a few) is the target date to unload (ideally shortly after open following peak volume)
