I got logged off a couple of minutes ago, and can't log back on. Also, index quotes in marketview logged off a few times today.

Just what I need toward the end of the trading day - getting logged off. Lovely.

OK - I just edited this message... I managed to get back on after awhile.

FWIW. It's always been my contention that those that can do (and make the big bucks), those that can't, teach (or sell their infinite wisdom, a subscription at a time).

Now that's not to say there isn't VALUE is anyones work, just that the Holy Grail is not for sale, at any price. If it were, you and your bankroll would turn to dust and blow away anyhow (apologies to Indiana Jones).

The whole notion of chatroom stock picks is a dangerous one. Mostly, it's a zero sum game. And when it's not, you could probably do just as well on your own buying whatever's moving.

The gentleman running these operations know this, but business is business. If they step over the line, the SEC will eventually, later rather than sooner, get around to them.

My good friends a FastTrades have hung out the 'closed for repairs' sign on their little operation. Just in time for the reported SEC crackdown. They always were a timely bunch.
