Some of us are learners, not know-it-alls! Thank you, Elmer, for your somewhat condescending remark that you think I am merely ignorant and not stupid. Some of us actually come to this thread to learn, not to debate, and we appreciate being informed, corrected and advised. In terms of my being misinformed or merely uninformed concerning possible parallel processing applications for AMD CPUs, you may well be right. If there is one thing we know about the market, however, it is that it is full of surprises. What is true today may not be true tomorrow. At any rate, I am underwhelmed by both the humility and the civility of many of the "frequent posters" on this thread. Pax vobiscum. Dona nobis pacem! Dan
