Sorry, I did not mean to avoid your question. When a date is inputted with an input routine, the mask (D2) automatically converts the date to the serial equivalent ie 11649. I guess it would be possible to output mask it to 991122 and store it this way, but there would be no reason to do this, so I did not consider the possibility.

Your point is correct however, if a PICK programmer wanted to store it this way.
