Do you enjoy regurgitating the same succus entericus over and over again?

Unfortunately you compare apple's and oranges not facts.
Things are not always simple, although those that can not deal with complexity may attempt to do so.

By your logic since GM has larger revenues than (CPQ+HWP+SUNW) + CSCO combined then we should all sell our tech stocks and buy GM because it has greater revenues?

What about CSCO's ROI, and growth rate compared to (CPQ+HWP+SUNW).

Did you bother to even do something as simple as a PEG ratio?

Perhaps the market and most investors realize something that you don't. Or are you like the proud parent watching their child march in a parade who yells out that their child is the only one in step?

Read the following very slowly
If a company makes 10M is that good or bad?
If they invested 20M it is very good.
If they invested 200M it is very bad.

Can you better understand that valuation and comparison of companies is really a relative measurement and comparing different sectors makes things even more difficult.

Networking stocks and Hardware stocks are different.

The one problem is those companies are not growing as fast and have the "quality of earnings predictability" that Cisco has.

btw, thought you might want to know that CPQ pre-announced that they would miss their earnings estimates. HP has recently gone down the tubes and as a result has been restructuring in a major way.

Cisco has missed only once in its history as a public company. That's why you are starting to sound like the adults in Charlie Brown to all of us. WA WA WA WAAA!

You are really right on this one, jach. I just asked Chambers to buy Sun Microsystems with some of authorized unissued overpriced stock. Think it would be accretive. As for HP and that other dog, don't think they're worth the trouble. If Cisco doesn't want Sun then maybe AOL or Yahoo or some other overpriced gas bog could pick them up.

Dear Jach. I am very confused about the following subjects: What is the difference between TCP and UDP? In what context are they relate to IP? Under which layer of the OSI model do they belong to? Which one is best suited for implementing RPC? Which one is more suited for ftp? what is the sliding window algorithm in TCP? How does TCP deal with congestion? What congestion control algorithm does it use? What are ICMP messages? Who use ICMP messages? What is the difference between multicasting and broadcasting?

I need to pass my network certified exam, and I would appreciate if you can help me get through these "tough" questions. Thanks.
