I am not very scientific either. I focus on the underlying and if it has LEAPS then I will use them as substitutes. In my IRA account, it helps spread out the available funds. In fact, I am considering selling some long stock positions and switching to LEAPS to reduce risk and increase leverage. I think that '02 LEAPS will be out after the close of April options. So I am starting to factor them into my considerations too. I am looking at RDRT, CNC and ADBE currently. Terry
