We had a small garden next to the back of the house that Sue got tired of weeding. It became my garden. I planted 5 yards of concrete there and solved the weed problem. Makes a nice place to park a couple of trailers.

Have you tried mulching your dirt areas? Having 2 or 3 inches of shredded bark helps control the weeds and makes them easier to pull up. Never gets muddy either. To plant you just scrape the mulch back. Sue has gone to spraying for weeds. Much better than trying to keep them pulled.

I'm a little more upbeat these days. Amazing what getting a boat wet does for my spirits.
