Registered Trademark for "TV Miles" Secured, Modern Computer Systems to Launch First Interactive CD-Rom Gaming Magazine
MIAMI (April 5) BUSINESS WIRE -April 5, 1999--Management of Modern

Computer Systems Inc. (OTC BB:MODS), is pleased to announce the

Company, through its wholly-owned subsidiary iC Television Inc.

(iC-TV), has secured the registered trademark for "TV Miles" in

anticipation of the international launch of iC-TV's innovative product

line of interactive CD-Rom live video gaming magazines.

Similar to Air Miles for frequent flyers, TV Miles is a key concept

behind the Company's sophisticated CD-Rom gaming magazines, which

reward consumers for their participation in promotional games, quizzes

and questionnaires provided by sponsors in a live video format on

CD-Rom.

The Gaming Guide Magazine, updated monthly, will provide the next

generation of consumers with virtual accounts on their home PC

computers. Participants will collect cash or TV Miles credits during

game play and apply electronically to a transactional identity-secure

website to claim their accumulated credits. iC-TV will then analyze and

compare results on its web database, calculate balances and send a TV

Miles Smart Card to the participant. The Smart Cards can be used by

consumers in upcoming interactive television programming, currently

being developed by iC-TV.

Sponsors of the CD-Rom games and interactive TV quiz programs reward

consumers on a pay-per-play basis. In return, sponsors receive a

mineable database of important consumer information and viewer

profiles, invaluable in developing their marketing strategies.

For a preview of iC-TV's TV Miles CD-Rom live video magazine and

iC-TV's interactive television program concept, please visit the

Company's website at www.ictelevision.com (signed) Mr. Robert Vivian,

President and CEO About Modern Computer Systems Inc.

------------------------------------

A subsidiary of Modern Computer Systems Inc., ICTV's business is

building virtual bridges between the worlds of SmartCards and

MassMedia, bringing the consumer market into the next millennium.

SmartCard technology, virtually unknown a few years ago, is now a

common place. A variety of applications emerged lately, mostly in the

marketing, transactions and the security markets. iC-TV's self

appointed role is to integrate these applications into a comprehensive,

consumer oriented, global system. Creating a synergy between the

MassMedia and the SmartCard applications, iC-TV opens the doors for a

larger variety of applications with considerable -- positive -- impact

on the way business is done in the near future.

Norman; on SDTI; thanx for news on VPN & VPNet; looks like SDTI has the vision necessary to invest in a company with the potential of a "$30B market by 2003"; I guess they plan on being around for a while..sw
