I too am seeing support breaking, the question is how much will it drop between now and earnings release? The absence of warning and the powerfully broad technical presentations reporteded at SPIE by both CYmer and stepper manufacturers is positive. It seems that ASML is doing well on sales front and is the majority of CYMI backlog (at CYMI factory, not at ASML). The wafer fabs in taiwan are also reportedley full from the upturn first noticed in Dec 98. Big market for ASML.
So again, if earnings in 3 weeks is positive, do we break down to 15 ahead of earnings?

Tom: Support at the 200-day MA, $16.87.

Where do you get your $15 number?
