The last conference call in January indicated SEG expected flat revenues and a 2 to 3 percent margin improvement for their 3rd qtr. This translates into $0.46 to $0.48 earnings. The analysts haven't varied from that prediction much. Warnings from some box makers and a slight weak period in late February and early March indicate the desktop revenues may be slightly below flat. However, the high end seems strong and they carry higher margins. I will guess $0.51 but I will welcome a higher surprise because some of the component maker warnings were the result of the successful SEG low end drives.

Yogi,

You have stepped over the line my friend ... you know that you can't go down in increments greater than $.05 unless or until they preannounce and the entire community chooses to do so ... otherwise you will look too much like a free-thinker ... and will be excommunicated by the analyst community ... you will be forced to wear a Scarlet "FT" on your chest ... people will mock you when you walk into the local taverns ... you will be removed from many a blast voice mail list ... you will not get invited to the free lunches at the Meridien (or the NYC equivalent) ... you will be served the poorest cuts of veal ... your name, and the name of other who come after you shall be uttered only at a whisper ...
