Tom, The RUI (russell 1000) is currently 3 points aways for its 52 week high. And the RUA (R3000) is only 2 points away for a 52 week high. I'm not following the Russell 2000 as much anymore as an indicator. I think that have been quite a few arbitrageurs who have been shorting the RUT for its liquidity and doing carry trades into big caps. But they will have to cover VERY QUICKLY is the RUI and RUA break to new highs and wind up dragging the RUT along with it. Regards, Ron
