It's just another piece of the puzzle. Indifference is enough, that by itself does not mean it is so. Further searching of the mechanism provides more of the pieces. If the universe does mean something then how did it get that meaning (I know the stock answer of outside intervention, but the question goes deeper .. if such an intervention had any possibility in succeeding).
