Some thoughts and highlights...

Starting with Sylvers testimony regarding their telephone bill being $18,000 per month... from their last quarterly filed on December 3...quite a difference...

TELEPHONE $6,069 $13,248

Q. How many times did you call Mr. Mann in February?
16 A. I don't think I called him at all in February.
17 Q. I'm showing you your telephone bill, March 9th, 1998.
18 A. Excuse me. That's Amazon Natural Treasures' telephone

19 bill, not my telephone bill.

20 Q. Excuse me. Amazon's telephone bill.
21 A. Right.
22 Q. Did you call Mr. Mann from your home phone number?
23 A. No.
24 Q. Well, there's a number of calls on February llth to an

25 845-7540 number in Cancun. Who was that?

SYLVER - RECROSS 173

1 A. I have no idea. A lot of -- many people make phone calls
2 from Amazon Natural Treasures.
3 Q. To Cancurt, Mexico?
4 A. To all over the world. Our phone bill's $18 thousand a 5 month.

I have to post this again also. It is so Freudian...

PLAN OF OPERATION

Amazon Natural Treasures, Inc., a privately held Nevada Company. Amazon Natural Treasures, Inc., is a multi-faceted company which is a Phytogenics Health Maintenance Company along with bringing the treasures of the Brazilian Amazon Rain Forest to the rest of the world. They produce and distribute health supplements derived from plants and related species for the cure and treatment
of human illnesses and disease. The Board of Directors feel this will offer shareholders a viable business opportunity now and for the future.

Then of course their is Mikey's recognition that there are two Wellrich's...<s>

SYLVER - RECROSS 176

1 Q. And then we have a company called Wellrich, right, and I
2 believe you testified that you're in some sort of Wellrich as
3 well?
4 A. Not that Wellrich, no. There's two Wellriches.
5 Q. There was no problem at all with the introduction between

6 Mr. Kricfalusi and of this particular Wellrich.

7 They did everything they were supposed to do, correct?
8 A. Correct.

9 Q. They were supposed to do a private placement for you but
10 in fact that never happened?
11 A. They started the private placement. Did quite well when
2 the stock was 3 and seven eights. That's $3.82.

One of my favorites...

BY MR. MONTAL:
14 Q. Now you found out in March 27th, on or about March 27,
15 1998, that the certificates that were supposed to be in escrow
16 were being transferred and you had according to your testimony
17 not been paid for them. But yet on May 4th, 1998, exhibit 30
18 you wrote a letter attesting to the fact that the 2 million
19 shares represented by certificate 2119 were, quote, in good
20 standing and not subject to any hold restrictions, correct?

21 A. I copied a letter that --
22 Q. Did you write the letter?
23 A. NO, I did not.
24 Q. Did you sign -- is this your signature on exhibit 30?
25 A. Yes.

SYLVER - RECROSS 194

1 Q. Did you send that letter?
2 A. No.
3 Q. You didn't send that letter to anybody?
4 A. I did not.
5 Q. You signed the letter and what did you do with it?
6 A. I gave it to my secretary.
7 Q. And what did she do with it?
8 A. I don't know.
9 Q. So you have no idea if this letter was ever disseminated?

10 That's your testimony now?

11 A. Correct.
12 Q. But somehow --
13 THE COURT: Well, now just a moment. Normally when
14 you give a letter to your secretary do you expect it to be
15 mailed?

16 THE WITNESS: She faxed it. Yes, she faxed it.

( ROFL. That is priceless.)

Well, maybe it was just a very long lunch. Mikey seems rather obsessional about lunch, doesn't he. We've read of his gustatory adventures with Charlie Kricfalusi, and now:

22 MR. JUDD: Your Honor, I'd also point out as we left
23 the courtroom for the break, a couple of the lawyers, we come
24 upon Mr. Sylver talking to a number of people who I assume are
25 going to be witnesses. I don't know precisely what they were

1 saying but they were going over documents and the appearance
2 certainly is let's have a --
3 THE COURT: Well, that's troubling to me. I can -- I
4 have no problem with them talking but I made it very clear
5 that witnesses are not to talk with other witnesses.
6 What were you talking about?

7 THE WITNESS: Where we were going to have lunch.
8 MR. LANDISH: Stand up.
9 THE WITNESS: Sorry, your Honor. Where we are going

10 to have lunch.

11 COURT RECORDER: Could you move over to the
12 microphone, please.
13 THE COURT: Why did you need documents?
14 THE WITNESS: I didn't have any documents.
15 COURT RECORDER: I can't hear you, please.
16 THE WITNESS: Your Honor, I didn't have any
17 documents. We wanted to decide if we were going to go --
18 THE COURT: But you understand my instructions?
19 THE WITNESS: Yes, I do, your Honor.
20 THE COURT: All right.
21 THE WITNESS: Because Mr. Landish wanted to go
22 someplace on Flamingo and David said we might not have enough
23 time because it's 20 minutes there and back. And then I said
24 what about the Golden Nugget.

I wonder where they decided to go. And what they ate...
