Time for a poll. Fill in the blanks. This week (April 5-12) counts as week 1, April 13-20 is week 2, etc.

1. In week ___, Nato will admit the possibility that they may send in ground troops.
2. In week ____, Nato will announce that if Milosovic doesn't meet certain conditions which Nato already knows he won't meet, NATO wills send in ground troops.
3. In week ___, Nato ground troops will enter Yugoslavia in significant numbers (this doesn't count the three already known to be there and the ones we already have in place on the ground.)
4. The last NATO troops will leave Yugoslavia in 20___.

Bonus question 1: In 2002 will Kosovo be an independent nation with diplomatic recognition from all NATO countries at a minimum and its own U.N. ambassador?

Bonus Question 2: Russia will do lots of talking and sabre-rattling. But will any Russian troops discharge any weapons in support of Yugoslavia, or will Russia send any military or semi-military (e.g. gasoline) supplies to Yugoslavia?

Bonus Question 3: What will this situation have cost the U.S. taxpayers when it is all over?

My entries:

1. 2
2. 3
3. 20
4. 2025

Bonus 1: Yes
Bonus 2: No
Bonus 3: I can't even guess, but a whole lot.
