John Hwang is a Managing Partner at Cohesive Technology Solutions, a national information technology consulting firm, where he runs Cohesive's Application Practice division. In addition to business development, he is responsible for Internet strategy consulting, helping clients with the strategic application of Internet technology to reduce costs, increase sales and improve customer service.
At Cohesive, Hwang was instrumental in the vision and implementation of Cohesive's consulting methodology, the Cohesive SOLVE Approach, in addition to Cohesive's rapid development platform, the Cohesive Common Platform.

Prior to Cohesive, Hwang founded I.Consulting Corporation, a web development company. As the Senior Partner, he transformed I.Consulting into a multi-million dollar professional services organization that designed, developed and deployed sophisticated three-tiered web and e-commerce systems for clients.

Prior to I.Consulting, Hwang held positions at Oracle, Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard and IBM, where he was actively involved in interactive television (ITV) and SNA technologies.

Hwang is widely regarded as an Intranet and Extranet subject expert. He has spoken on this topic at numerous industry functions and has been published in such magazines as LAN Times and InfoWorld.

Hwang has advised a variety of different clients including Fortune 100, start-up and non-profit organizations. He also holds a seat on the Board of Directors of TeleServices International Group, a publicly traded company.

Hwang holds a BS degree in computer science from Stanford University.
