Aitch: Thanks I got the VCall link and listened to the talk on COMPAQ. Eugene Peroni is purely a TA. He has nothing to say about fundamentals. To be honest it wasn't worth the trouble. This is a verbatim transcript:

He said "Compaq had been a miserable stock for weeks if not months, it had a nice breakout at $51, here, and held it for a day: it hasn't looked back since. About the only good thing I can say about COMPAQ is that it appears to be bottoming out here and so there is limited downside risk." When asked to explain how TA can tell you how long a company will take to recover he said "in COMPAQ's case it will take time to recover from the $20 drop and we may be talking months rather than weeks". DUH!
