I think that the announcement was overshadowed by the forecast of lower Q4 numbers. Let's just hope that the selling price is fair. It would be kind of embarrassing to sell NCES for less than $10 when it came public at $9 17 months ago, especially when the company has grown substantially since then.

It's just a waiting game.

NCES is a good company in a very popular

industry right now, they are however, a victim of their poorly managed parent company. What has happened with Nov hurt a lot of stockholders, employees, and investment firms - this does not go overlooked. The sooner NCES is sold, the better, and I agree its just a matter of time. Some PEO could really take this company bigtime, nov however would run it into the ground. Go Aflac.

It's probably being viewed as a distress sale.

If you were interested in buying NCES from NOV, knowing NOV's financial situation, you would be in a commanding position to negotiate.
